The building on 2 Avenue South

The casino stands at 3756 2 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4Y9. It opened at this location in 2004. The building covers over 44,000 square feet, and 13,000 of those are set aside for gaming. So the floor itself is only part of what sits under one roof.

Ownership sits one step up. The casino is part of PURE Canadian Gaming, and in December 2024 Indigenous Gaming Partners acquired PURE Canadian Gaming. That group brings together five Nova Scotia First Nations and Sonco Gaming Inc.

Locals may know the name from the rink. At Lethbridge Hurricanes (WHL) games the casino runs a Community Corner, where it invites fans to enjoy a game. It has also won the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Employer Award. That award comes from the city's own business community, not from a gaming body.

How the hours fit together

The doors open at 8:00 am and close at 5:00 am the next morning, every day. Inside that window, each part keeps its own clock. Slot machines run from 10 am to 5 am. Live table games and the poker room share hours: 2 pm to 3 am Monday to Friday, and 12 pm (noon) to 3 am on Saturday and Sunday.

Food and drinks follow their own pattern. Stage Coach Grill serves from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Buffalo Bar, on the casino floor, is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 am. So if you walk in before 10 am, you will find breakfast and the bar open, but not the slots.

Every time here is local Mountain time, as the casino publishes it. A shift that starts in the evening ends after midnight, on the next calendar day. Holiday hours are not published, so check the casino's own website or call before a holiday visit.
